Public trajectory data. Operators publish little beyond the orbit type. We will add object IDs and orbital elements only where a public catalogue confirms them for a memorial payload.

Status updates

• 1 Oct 2026Endeavor launched from Vandenberg with 28 Celestis participants, expected to re-enter after about twelve months³.
• 23 Jan 2026Space Beyond’s plan for up to 1,000 one-gram memorials on a single CubeSat was reported².
• 24 Jun 2025The Nyx capsule carrying Perseverance hit the Pacific after re-entry. Celestis does not expect to recover the capsules⁴.
• 8 Jan 2024Enterprise and Tranquility launched together on Vulcan’s first flight. Enterprise continued to deep space; the Peregrine lander had a propulsion problem and did not reach the Moon⁷.
